CashTrails+: Personal Finance App Reviews

Amazing app for manage personal finances. Very useful. The desing is ugly... Worth paying if it was beautiful.

I have tried dozens of finance tracking apps, and the best one is cash trails plus. I love the entry possibilities, the accounts, the groups, the categories, the exports (although blank columns could be left out to simplify things !), the syncing ... !!! However, there are still a few functionalities missing : the notification panel Widget for new entries (even if we couldnt fill the whole details in, maybe just : add amount, time stamp the entry and save it for later !). Also a watch app would be great for the same as the notification widget. What more, it would be necessary to be able to "point" the expenses, in order to correlate with the bank expenses. Note : why two versions but only one seems to be the up to date ?!

In previous versions it was possible to delete all your data, now if you want to delete it you have to do one by one! Terrible

Comprehensive, easy to use, what else to say? Keep on with the updates!

Excellent and easy to use.

I was looking for a very simple app that would help me keep track of where my money was going. Quick entry for putting stuff in while I was out and about, some simple fields for separating entries by category, account, a trip vs. general spending. This does exactly what I need it to do without overloading with features that clutter the interface. Buying the full version right now!

Very happy with this application, easy to use and allows you to set up your own categories, has recurring feature, has visual of income versus outcome, and does all of the things a budgeter should have, and its free!! Finally. *****

Not bad. Did what it needed to do. Could be easier to use but its great for a free ap. And maybe work on making it prettier, function is one thing but pretty markets it in the end.

Does exactly what I need, powerful and quick tool. I used a similar one previously but it didnt let me edit my budgets after creating them! This one lets you edit, create groups, create recurring... Great!

Amazing app! Keeps perfect track of my spending and allows me to add notes to expenses and to separate them into different accounts. A little confusing when you want to get into the more technical aspects of it but for a free app its pretty flipping fantastic.

I have tried many apps for tracking spending & find this one the easiest & most flexible. There are great reports & you get a clear picture of where your money is going. I am much more conscious of the money Im spending because I record it here after every transaction. Makes you more aware & makes creating a budget & sticking to it much easier.

I love this app. Use it daily. Im delighted that Ill finally be able to sync it between my iPod and my iPad. But why, oh why, did you take away the little alphabet to help jump around a long category list. That was such an improvement when you added, why in heavens did you ditch it! I am hoping the updated version will be as stable as the previous. It was pretty darn rock solid. Nice work folks. Thanks. :D

The interface is clean and simple, the bar chart summary is nice. Letters in the report are too big and go off the screen on the right. Overall a good app, however the free version only allows 100 entries and tells you only when the quota is reached. The export functionality does not work in the free version either, the paid version costs 4.99.

Paid-for features REMOVED in update! Beware! Researched buying this app extensively. Paid for it. Relied-upon features removed by update. Talked to the developer. Nice polite guy, but it has been months of waiting for the original features to be restored. I cannot use the app as I originally did and intended. 1. Where did wireless export via WiFi go? I do not want to pass my info through iTunes. No, I do not want to pass my records through email providers either. I can not control their data retention practices. 2. Settings are missing for features changed in this version for features I grew accustomed to. Like positive expense as default. The +/- button is three clicks away now. The entry task should be as simple as possible because that is what the app is most used for most of the time. I dont look at pretty report graphs every minute.

Did not mention anywhere that the free version had limited entries allowed. It only tells you once you hit the limit.

I use this everyday. Helps keep track of my expenses and the new search function just made it perfect! Only complaint is the new font/display of journal entries. Will take some getting used to.

I want to import csv data from other app. If possible I will sure download full ver.

After this update I can no longer enter transactions! I have already paid! I do not want to pay again !!!

I enjoy using this app. It helps me keep up with all my expenses and earnings for various accounts. East to use. Nice interface. Verg neat.
