CashTrails+: Personal Finance Examine App

Jai teste cette application que je ne connaissais pas, jai été surpris par son originalité. En définitive la finalité dexploitation est semblable à dautres applications peut être plus "pointues" mais le résultat est le même. Je reste sur CASHTRAILS.

Unique application for freelancer.

I honestly can’t give lower stars than this. The old version was amazing and it’s been very helpful to keep track of all my income and expense items. However, since I upgraded to a newer iPhone, I have not been able to transfer my old data from my old phone to the new phone. I paid for that old version. I reached out to the developer and he wasn’t able to help me retrieve the data in my new phone. So now I can only keep putting data in my old phone. I’m not sure if I should pay for the new version for my new phone, and it’s frustrating that I cannot keep track of my expenses and incomes in my new phone.

I’ve been using the app for 13 years already and it’s still the best!

The app is well designed and includes the ability to assign more attributes to apps than I have seem in other apps. For example, the GROUP feature to associate expenses with a trip helps with reporting. However, for the price, I would expect more robust reporting - not just a csv export, but different well formatted PDF reports.

I absolutely love this app and was happy to pay for it. Even compared to high-price accounting software, it’s great. The organization, reports and ease of use (such as adding transactions) is great. My biggest problem with it is that it does not have a desktop version which is a real deal-breaker for me. Please at least allow Apple Silicon macs to run the iPad version on desktop, which doesn’t even require more coding on your part. Dark mode would also be nice but less important.

I’ve been using this app since 2011 and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s backups always work flawlessly if I need them and entering my expenses and incomes is quick and easy. The one downside to the app is when selecting tags for your entry it goes back to the main screen after just selecting one tag. I’d like an option for it not to do that. Cash Trails is one of the reasons I’ve stuck with Apple / iPhone for so many years. I love going back to see what I’ve spent my money on.

Cash trails is a wonderful App. I love to see clearly all the incoming expenses for all the months to come. I also like the simple approach and the clear display. And of course the multiple currencies and instant exchange rate. Thank you! I only have a few wishes: 1. Have it on Apple Watch would be wonderful 2. I would love to see the future balances as well. For example; if with my checking account I add entries for the all year of all my income and the recurrent (fixed expenses), I could see how much the balance would be on each month in the future. It should not be difficult to add. 3. The recurrences could be more custom friendly (e.g., last business day of each month, or something like that) 4. The recurrent amount can be also easy to modify fir those bills that don’t have a fix amount. FIVE well deserved stars after that!

Hi I got stuck to cannot record a new data after my phone has been updated ios 13.1.2 Can u help to fix this??

Absolutely love this app. I am a very organized person and I find that tracking your money is extremely important. I log everything and the ability to run instant and custom-filtered reports at any time is amazing. The best way to track your funds! My only feature request would be the ability to change a groups display from currency to a regular number. So 5 instead of $5.00. I also use the app to track things that I collect and although the ‘money’ is not included in my total, it’s also not a number that represents money. Basically, I’m just using the app to track the number of items I have and just want a simple numeral

I have been using this app for four years now. Its a really incredible tool to keep track of all my income and expenses, between different accounts and currencies; it allowed me to set it up in a way that fits perfectly my personal needs and economical system. I highly recommend it!

I use this to track my trip expenses. It makes expense reports a breeze. I often visit three or more countries during one trip and tracking all the currencies was a nightmare. Now it’s as simple as activating the currencies I’ll be using before the trip and logging everything as I go. Most taxis and small businesses in Latin America don’t take credit cards, so it was a constant struggle to track how much cash I was spending. I know I often under reported, leaving me paying those expenses out of pocket. Problem solved with CashTrails!

Excellent in every way, many features, but perfectly simple - simply perfect, seamless currency conversion, fast to use, and responsive customer support. You won’t be disappointed.

It’s such a great app. Let you keep track of your finance. See your real bank balance so you can watch your spending.

I’ve been using this app for several years and love it. I use it daily, and it keeps my finances in order. I love the simplicity of it. I don’t know what I’d do without it!

If it had Apple Watch input... then it would be the bomb

This app doesn't have many features for the heavy 9.99 price tag. I wish it was like simplecash before it crashed. I hate this app

Easy to use and super convenient for keeping track of income for my business because it changes daily !

I am using this app for 1 year now. I tried also other apps before deciding to buy this pro version. I liked its convenience and easy navigation, your always close to your reports. Entries are done extremely fast almost 2 to 3 minutes. If you are consistent with data entry the app is most useful. It's Phil show in at my balances on credit cards so that will remind me. The only suggestion I want to do is to: make the separations between different type of accounts in color.

I would love to change the background to other color or use my photos

So, I wanted a way to manage my multiple accounts & track my finances. This app has far exceeded my expectations. Not only do I know where my money has gone, but I know exactly how much I have at all times. Must-have!

Thanks for the new version! iPhone 6 Plus resolution, bulk delete, interface updates... I wrote the developer some time ago asking for these features and here they are:) I am happy with support. Please add account sharing and more bulk edit features. Also relocating transaction type button to the bottom would help a lot. Best money management app of 25+ that I researched!

I purchased the app back in 2010 and I love it! Especially the last update for iPhone 6 is amazing! Keep up the good work!

This application is absolutely awful. Not only did I have to pay for the upgrade on the new version, when I had already paid for the upgrade on the prior version, but there is no longer the ability to take a look at it history by tags to see how much was spent overtime on any reticular category. It is all just scattered information. Three years of expense records and now I have no way of looking back and seeing how much was paid, for instance on auto repairs, groceries, etc. I have no idea what the developer had in mind other than an attempt to make some more money. Apple should be ashamed of itself for allowing this so-called upgrade to occur.

I've been using this app for years and I absolutely love it. Due to an issue with my new iPhone 6, I had to get a replacement phone. Unfortunately my cash trails app didn't like that. I emailed support and they have been wonderful! The customer support in this APP is above and beyond. I highly suggest this app - you won't be disappointed in the app or the service! I've used this app for a long time now and it needs more recognition. Also I'm not sure when the new update was put out, it looks great.

This was no joke the best app I ever had on my phone. I updated it last week. Big mistake. Now I hate it. A lot of the little things irritate me now. Can't stand how the toolbar on the bottom is not always there anymore. Only when on the first screen. I would really love the old version back. It was so much better-that one would have got 5 stars...

This app is great, right up until you exceed 30 entries, at which point they charge you a bloated $4.99 for the full version. Not worth it!

this is a really good app. its so easy to use and lets u know exactly how much money u have and where it is. it also shows you where your spending the most of your money and where your getting it from. its just perfect and so simple. get it and try it...you will be hooked

Ever wondered how much you are spending on your boyfriend? It's a nice app, but the description is biased towards men. Really a shame, the only reason I'm getting a competing one.

Well made program

I'm a recent high school graduate who wanted to keep track of my spending for the summer before college. I looked at a lot of apps like this one which were too involved and too complicated. However, this app is only as complicated as you make it- you can use it very simply like I do or you can add multiple account and currencies or whatever. The user interface is very simple and intuitive. I haven't been using it for long though, so I don't know if it crashes or anything like that. So far so good!

I've tried other expense and money management apps and they are often just too confusing and frustrating. This app, however, just simplifies everything down to be very readable and user friendly. I love this app!

A very straightforward, simple to use app without a bunch of unnecessary fluff. I got it because I was starting a project and wanted to create a running total. Worked great.

I like this app for tracking expenses in different accounts (i.e. bank accounts, credit cards, savings, etc.) but the reports aren't very useful. It would be nice if the reports were available in different formats and customizable.

Very thorough and well composed app

I have been looking for an app that can take multiple currency since we are a military family living overseas. It's complicated when buying gas is in $ and paying utilities or buying coffee on the economy is in £. I also like the reports. Seeing how much we spend in a day and week besides the usual month and year is nice. Being able to see just the £ and $ expenses is wonderful. My only wish is that there's a bigger iPad version with more of a ledger view with starting income. Something like Pocket Expense or Home Budget. Keep up the great work. What you have for your intended purpose is wonderful. What I want is just a wish :)

I've been looking for an app that allows me to enter expenses and income quickly and produce good reports. This does exactly that. No complex configurations just straight to the point. The only opportunity for improvement I see is to allow the user to pick multiple tabs in the tags section before auto scrolling back to the main entry screen. So I can get the most put of the reporting I break down each transaction many ways with many tags. However the screens shifts back every single time I choose one. It can become a slight nuisance if you're tagging an entry with 10 different tags. Just a thought. Otherwise, sweet!
